Purple Nonsense

Violets have no sense at all
They bloom in winter, spring or fall.
Like two year old adventurers,
Oblivious to temperatures.

They nap away in summer sun,
Awaiting cooler days for fun.
Then, peeking out from snow in spring.
The laugh at grown-ups shivering.
