Yesterday
I was four years old
And I learned to tie
My own shoes.
Today
At fifty-four
I leaned to tie my
grand-daughter's
Shoes
In between
I picked at the knots
Of life
And Untangled
What I could
With practice
Could I,
In Four times fifty-four
Unlatch His?
