A death in the Stout Family: son of Trisha and Regan Willmore

Trisha and Regan Willmore lost their 17 year old son to a hiking accident in AF canyon last week and the funeral is this morning. It was a tragic thing. He was an Eagle Scout and fine young man. You remember Trisha is Vaughn's daughter and used to live with us when her brother did also, John. I think that Janna is helping out. She and Trisha have remained very good friends. V wont be there as he just had knee surgery. He turned 80 the day before I did. His wife is 90 I heard.
Richard and Dad just left for the funeral in Highland. I would have gone but I am still fighting this chest cold. It makes me very tired so I dont do much. I am on the mend though, and it would not be good to expose myself to crowds either. I went to Stake Conf on Sunday and should have stayed home. It set me back. Elissa has a cold too but we are all doing better.

Hi Aunt Colleen,
Sorry to hear you have pneumonia! That's terrible.  Be SURE to not get exposed to the Swine flu while you have that... it's a lethal combination. Take care!
No, my Dad will not be there... he recently had a knee operation and is still recovering.  His wife is 90 and doesn't have any energy, and can hardly cope every day.  Dad just turned 80 this month on the 2nd, Terrell's birthday too.  Terrell is here in town.  Trisha had reserved a time-share condo for all us sisters and my mom to stay at Saturday night.  Terrell flew in on Thursday at Noon, and we had this planned for several months, so this was a terrible shock and it was good Terrell was here to help with things.  It's an open house tonight, they couldn't have a viewing because too much damage was done, even though they tried to help make him look ok for it.  Regan was devastated after having to go and identify him... and I'm glad that Trisha didn't go.  What a horrible nightmare!  But at least they have the gospel and have that comfort.  We are SO blessed for that.
I'll look forward to seeing Uncle Owen.
Take care of yourself... drink lots of fluids,
Love,
Leigh

Trish or Patricia is the daughter of Vaughn and Louise Stout, and she lived with us for about a year along with her brother John after Vaughn left the family destitute and homeless. While living with us she met and married Regan Willmore, an outstanding fellow who was related to friends on Carterville Rd. They had their reception at our house ( very low key) and even a shower was held in our ugly back yard before that. Love knows no problems!! He did well as an Air traffic controller. They live in HIghland and have about 6-7 kids. Very fine family. She has a lovely singing voice and has also composed music. I keep in touch with her sister Leigh Woodward all the time through email. She lives in SL and works at the same hosp as Emily McConkie ( did) and they are acquainted. Small world. Leigh has had a hard life but is a fine person. She was div from her first husband and remarried but a few years ago he died from an accidental pill overdose. It was very sad, but now she has remarried. She has had at least a couple of her kids go on missions. She too has a lovely singing voice and made a couple of CD's. They are a talented bunch- most of V kids. John and Lynda live in Lehi ( he is a builder). BTW he met her while living with us too. She lived just north of us in a different stake. Addy is very talented and has her own business. I dont think
Bill is active in the church and I know his wife isnt. Jim is active and we email. He lives in Kaysville and knows Paul. Holly still lives with her mom and is more retarded than ever. The twin boys, Richard and Robert are alcoholics and a royal pain-- having been in and out of jail. They sponge off Louise as you remember, and have never married. The end.
