Dear Cousins:
Over the past few months I have been working on writing Lorraine ’s life
history—it has been a wonderful experience re-living her life. I have compiled the earlier histories written
by her sisters then added the additional story of her life. Lorraine
had many family members who loved and interacted with her over the years. Some of the most fun and tender stories took
place while she visited the homes of her sisters and was visited by the many
members of her family. While there were
so many wonderful people involved in her life, we were only able to include the
few experiences we have access to as we have compiled the book.
So, while there are many stories about Lorraine included in her life history, there
are also many stories that have not been told.
That’s why I’m asking those who are interested, to help write the rest
of her story. Each of us has had unique experiences
with Lorraine
and each of our stories is special. I’m
hoping that whatever your memories, you would be willing to share them in this
book.
If you would write feelings, experiences, and memories—at
whatever length you would like—I would include them in a section of family
memories. Also, if you have any
pictures you would like to include, we would love those as well. These could be of Lorraine , or of family gatherings, or
whatever you would like to share.
I’m hoping to have these all gathered by the end of October. That way we can have the book finished by Lorraine ’s birthday in
November. If you’re interested, you can

I know our lives are busy but I’m hoping many of you will be
able to share your memories of Lorraine
